How Does a Fly Ash Brick Making Machine Work?
The manufacturing process generally involves the following stages.
Step 1: Raw material selection
Select suitable fly ash, binder, sand or stone dust, and water according to the intended brick specification and approved mix design.
Step 2: Mixing
The ingredients are measured and mixed to achieve a uniform blend. Appropriate mixing equipment helps distribute the materials consistently.
Step 3: Material feeding
The prepared mixture is transferred into the machine's mould or feeding system according to the equipment configuration.
Step 4: Pressing and moulding
The machine compacts the mixture to form bricks. The mould design and pressing parameters influence dimensions, surface finish and compaction.
Step 5: Brick handling
Freshly formed bricks must be handled carefully to avoid damage. The handling method depends on the machine design and plant layout.
Step 6: Curing
The bricks are cured under suitable conditions so that the binder can develop the required properties.
Step 7: Quality inspection and storage
Finished bricks should be inspected and tested against the relevant product requirements before being supplied to customers.
The machinery is only one part of the process. Raw material control, mix design, curing and quality testing also play important roles in finished-brick performance.
